  • About me
My interest in social innovation arises from my experience as a consumer, parent, volunteer, user of services, and citizen. As a parent of three sons and user of services in health, education, disability, mental health, child and family support, social security, employment services and vocational training, I have experienced dysfunctional provider-centred bureaucracy-driven systems for the past twenty-five years. I am interested in social innovations that tackle this dysfunction and transfer information, power, and responsibility to individuals and families in their capacities as consumers, citizens, and authors of their own lives.
