I'm a Project Officer in the Skills Alliance project at the Health and Community Services Workforce Council. The Workforce Council supports leadership and innovation in workforce development for the health and community services sectors in Queensland. We have a range of regional industry capacity-building projects including Integrated Skills Development Strategy (ISDS), Disability Sector Training Fund (DSTF), Project 300, Resident Support Program (RSP), and Professional Support Coordinator Queensland (PSCQ). Statewide projects include Skills Alliance, Health Skills Formation Strategy (HSFS), and the industry brokerage project, Productivity Places Program (PPP). Through these projects, the Workforce Council is involved in workforce and skills development, community capacity-building, professional development and training, career promotion and new skilling strategies and initiatives.
