  • About me
Currently, as a Social Justice Officer in the Uniting Church in Australia, I engage in public speaking, prepare research papers and briefings for government, as well as develop a network of supporters through the provision of online fora and various campaign and education materials. I am also the President of a small community legal centre (Social Security Rights Victoria) which focuses on social security. I am interested in finding ways to better distribute wealth and create employment in Victoria through strengthening and harnessing civil society in disadvantaged communities. In 2010 I completed the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact. I was awarded an AMP scholarship to undertake these studies; and, was later awarded the prize for all round excellence in the 'Social Impact: Entrepreneurs and Social Innovation' course taught by Associate Professor Cheryl Kernot at the Melbourne Business School.
