Many people would like to improve their voting skills but lack time,confidence and knowledge.
In a friendly environment people can come together to learn the basics about voting and feel more empowered in future elections
Topics outline:
- Self-governing and others responsibilities
- Exploring the truths & myths around voting
- Getting on and staying on the electoral roll
- The three different elections that are held in Australia(Federal, State and Local)
- How to vote at the upcoming Local Government Elections inSeptember.
To proceed with this event we need at least 40, 18 years + attendees. The meeting is on the Thursday 19th July 4pm-6pm. Please confirm your desire to attend by SMS or email . We will contact you week beginning 25th June to confirm numbers are reached for the session to go ahead
