Social Innovation in Australia - What could we do if we work together?

I have been following with interest a conversation that has been bringing together all the Social Innovators in Australia (Thanks to @edwardharran) around COSI10 and also with the Social Innovation Barcamp coming very soon. I feel that this has a lot of potential to collaborate in more things. I thought I would open this thread to start having this conversation in an open space. So, where from here? Any thoughts?

One idea which has just come to mind is to find out who is innovating Social Media and taking it to the next level. This is both in the Software Development space as well as research. I have together with the Swinburne Brain Sciences Institute been doing a research study which has just been released bringing the concepts of Social Media and skills in Emotional Intelligence together. The outcome in my view was rather ground breaking.
